  • What is the battery status of CertiDeal smartphones?

    All batteries are tested, verified and certified by the experts at CertiDeal.

    We guarantee a minimum of 80% of their capacity, regardless of the chosen aesthetic state.

     

    For all our smartphones (except for those with the New Battery pack):

    • We offer a 3-month warranty on the battery. Beyond that, the battery is considered consumable and its lifetime will depend on its use.

    If you have opted for the New Battery Pack:

    • A brand new battery at 100% capacity

  • What is the "Zen Pack"?

    The Zen Pack contains a tempered glass and a protective case for your device.

    The tempered glass, 3 mm thick, is placed directly on your device by our technicians.

    The protective silicone case is flexible and transparent.

    This pack protects the device in case of impact and limits breakage.

    We have also a Premium version of the Zen Pack that includes a Premium Quality and Much Solid phone case.

  • What is the "New Battery Pack"?

    The New Battery Pack allows you to receive a device with a new battery installed by our technicians, guaranteed for 12 months.

    This pack is offered at the time of purchase of your device. To date, we are the only ones in Europe who can offer you this option.

    The battery is changed specifically for you in our workshops just before shipment. This may delay the delivery slightly by 24 hours.

  • What are the differences between the aesthetic grades?

    All CertiDeal mobiles, regardless of their condition, are certified 100% functional. Similarly, our warranty applies under the same conditions and for the same duration to all products regardless of category. The differences between the states are on the aesthetic level: scratches on the cover or on the screen.

    All of our smartphones come with a new charging cable and a SIM card puller.

  • What accessories are included with my smartphone? Are they original?

    All our smartphones come with an accessory kit that includes a charging cable and SIM card extractor. These products are brand new but are not the models sold by Apple. However, they are perfectly compatible CE compliant and premium quality. 

    If you want more accessories, CertiDeal allows you to buy: a case and/or a tempered glass that our team will install directly on your mobile smartphone before shipping.

  • Satisfied or reimbursed - 21 days right of withdrawal without any problems

    CertiDeal extends the legal withdrawal period from 14 to 21 days, so that you have time to test the product and be sure that you have made the right choice.

    The 21-day trial period will start from the moment you take possession of the product (the delivery receipt of the express courier service selected at the time of purchase will be the proof).

    It will not be necessary to explain the reasons for your decision although, in order to improve, we would always appreciate knowing the reason that has led you to request the withdrawal of the purchase. A formality

  • Is the product sold in its original packaging?

    Each product is sold in CertiDeal packaging with its standard accessory kit.

    These packages offer all the necessary guarantees of robustness for delivery and are highly appreciated by our team for their design.

  • How do you verify products?

    Certification is the core activity of CertiDeal.

    After reception in our workshop, each mobile phone is individually tested by our experts on more than 30 control points: battery capacity, call quality, camera, Bluetooth ...

    Only devices that pass all the tests are validated by our technicians and are available for sale on our website. Buying a product on Certideal is therefore to be sure that it will be 100% functional.

    In addition, before shipping the phone goes through a final phase of testing to certify that the product is in perfect condition for shipment.

  • Is my phone still waterproof?

    As a refurbished product, water-resistance is not guaranteed. During reconditioning, the devices are sometimes opened so that tests can be carried out. In this case, watertightness is not guaranteed on reconditioned products sold on CertiDeal. In general, the watertightness of products decreases significantly during their lifetime.

  • What is the "Screen Damage Insurance"?

    The Screen Damage Insurance is an option offered by CertiDeal in case your screen is broken.

    If your screen is unfortunately broke, we will gladly replace it by a new one in our workshop with no extra charge added. The Screen Damage Insurance is only valid once over a period of 12 months and ensures peacefulness when using your smartphone.  

    Furthermore, a screen usually cost between €79 and €279 depending on the model (Apple price list in 2020). To offer the customer the best price with the best services has always been our main goal.

  • Why is my iPhone showing an Apple "important message" or "unknown item" alert?

    Your iPhone screen displays an Apple alert message about the battery, screen or camera. For example: "Unknown item" in the "Parts & Repair History" section of the settings or "Unable to verify if this iPhone has an original Apple battery. Battery status is not available".

    What does this notification mean?

    This notification appears when a repair has been performed on a device and provides information about the component being replaced: battery, screen, camera.

    Only an Apple Genius Bar or Apple Authorized Service Provider can replace a component on the latest iPhones without these messages being triggered. This does not mean
