What is the battery status of CertiDeal smartphones?
All batteries are tested, verified and certified by the experts at CertiDeal.
We guarantee a minimum of 80% of their capacity, regardless of the chosen aesthetic state.
For all our smartphones (except for those with the New Battery pack):
- We offer a 3-month warranty on the battery. Beyond that, the battery is considered consumable and its lifetime will depend on its use.
If you have opted for the New Battery Pack:
- A brand new battery at 100% capacity
- 12 months warranty on the battery

What does the Certideal guarantee cover?

What are the delivery times?
The delivery time is shown on each product sheet. It is 3 or 8 working days depending on the product.
The time indicated corresponds to the maximum period for which we undertake to deliver your product at your home or a relay point. In the vast majority of cases, your product will be dispatched before this deadline.

My UPS shipping voucher has expired, how can I get a new one?
If your UPS shipping voucher has expired, we invite you to complete the trade-in form for your phone again through the following link: Resell
Once you complete the form again, you will receive an automatic email with a new prepaid UPS shipping voucher. With this new voucher, you can proceed to ship your phone for free.

How to find out that the battery has been changed
If you want to check that the battery replacement (Premium Pack) has been done, it is very simple:
If you ordered a model lower than iPhone 8:
Go to Settings=> Battery=> Battery status: the battery will display a status of 100 or 99%.
If you ordered a model equal to or greater than iPhone X:
You have iOS 13 or lower: go to Settings=> Battery=> Battery status: the battery will display a status of 100 or 99%.
You have iOS 14 or higher and a model greater than or equal to iPhone X:
Unfortunately Apple has disabled the battery status

What is the "New Battery Pack"?
The New Battery Pack allows you to receive a device with a new battery installed by our technicians, guaranteed for 12 months.
This pack is offered at the time of purchase of your device. To date, we are the only ones in Europe who can offer you this option.
The battery is changed specifically for you in our workshops just before shipment. This may delay the delivery slightly by 24 hours.

What states will my battery be once I receive it?

My smartphone doesn’t turn on
Before starting the return procedure, follow these three steps:
- Check if the problem is not coming from the charger. Try charging your smartphone with another charger.
- Check that there is no dust on the charging connector that prevents contact with the charger. We invite you to watch this video.
- Do a forced reboot of the device.
In fact, the screen can stay locked or black without a real hardware problem. A forced reboot does not mean that you lose the contents of the device. You can force restart the device even if the screen is black or the buttons are

What are the differences between the aesthetic grades?
All CertiDeal mobiles, regardless of their condition, are certified 100% functional. Similarly, our warranty applies under the same conditions and for the same duration to all products regardless of category. The differences between the states are on the aesthetic level: scratches on the cover or on the screen.

Sound issues (microphone / speaker)
This is usually a failure of the material and not of the software, but to avoid a return that immobilizes your device for 10 days, we invite you to verify that it is not an excess of dust.
Tip: with a slightly damp toothbrush, rub the affected area (speaker, microphone, sound output in calls next to the front camera).

What accessories are included with my smartphone? Are they original?
All our smartphones come with an accessory kit that includes a charging cable and SIM card extractor. These products are brand new but are not the models sold by Apple. However, they are perfectly compatible CE compliant and premium quality.
